The goal of Institute of Cybersecurity and Cryptology is to conduct research, initiate and implement innovations in cybersecurity, Information security and computer security.
Institute of Cybersecurity and Cryptology (iC2), formerly known as Centre for Computer and Information Security Research, is well known worldwide for its knowledge and ability to train people in the area of computer and information security. This training is key to initiating and implementing innovations in cyber security, information security and computer security. The Centre is the initiator of the prestigious Annual International Conference on the Theory and Application of Cryptology and Information Security (Asiacrypt) under the auspices of the International Association for Cryptology Research (IACR).
The iC2 is led by Prof. Willy Susilo, a former ARC Future Fellow. The centre has 2 prestigious ARC Discovery Early Career Researcher Fellows, 3 Professors, 2 Associate Professors, 3 Senior Lecturers, 1 Senior Research Fellow and 25 PhD students.
