PhD Scholarships in Soft Robotics for Prosthetic Devices (2 available)
The Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for Electromaterials Science (ACES, www.electromaterials.edu.au) brings together interdisciplinary researchers from chemistry, materials science, engineering, medicine, physics, and biology (i) to explore, develop and exploit a wide range of new electromaterials, and (ii) to create the next generation of electrochemical devices via the precision assembly of nano/micro dimensional components into macroscopic structures to deliver unprecedented device performance. There are 5 research programs in the ACES including Soft Robotics for Prosthetic Devices. The aim of this program is to apply these novel electromaterials to develop revolutionary new robotic systems.
