Geant4 School, for beginners and more experienced Geant4 users

About

The school consisted of lectures and hands-on sessions. The lectures covered the fundamentals of Geant4 functionality.  Hands-on sessions were available for both beginners and more experienced Geant4 users. The course was addressed to any domain of application of Geant4. See the program for more details. This event was endorsed by the Australasian College of Physical Scientists and Engineers in Medicine.  Upon successful completion, participants may claim a total of 15 CPD points in the ACPSEM CPD system at 5 CPD point per day.  The participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance.

Monte Carlo Workshop for Radiotherapy, Imaging and Radiation Protection

About

The workshop was devoted to the development, validation and use of Monte Carlo codes  for  X-ray radiotherapy, IMRT, MRT, proton and heavy ion therapy, brachytherapy, medical imaging including PET and SPECT, X-ray CT, synchrotron imaging techniques, radiation protection, development of radiation detectors and other instrumentation.

The workshop consisted of oral presentations and poster sessions. 

A Focus Issue will be published in Physica Medica with the peer-reviewed contributions to the Monte Carlo workshop. 

The best student presentation receives a prize in cash.
