2012 Engineering Prize Night

In May every year undergraduate and postgraduate students from the Faculty of Engineering and from the Research Institute of Superconducting and Electronic Materials receive rewards for high academic achievement at our annual prize giving ceremony. Students from all Schools and engineering disciplines in Faculty, including Physics, Mechanical, Materials, Mechatronics, Civil, Mining and Environmental Engineering receive recognition at this ceremony. Over $30,000 prizes in cash are given out on the night, plus a wide range of other awards, scholarships, and certificates. The prizes are mostly awarded by Industries and Industry associations, often to reward students’ performance in particular areas. This demonstrate the importance that Industry places on University training, and their recognition of the quality of our courses and of our students.

Below are some of the photo's taken on the prize night evening held on 10th May 2012.
